The Orb's Christmas Colors

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. In the first we see an orb with the Christmas colors of green and red -- including the letter "L" in green.
In most of 200 or so consecutive photos there were orbs that had the same two dark marks or holes. Below is one example.
