Photo date: September 28, 2021. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. On this day I got a total of more than 10,000 tombstone shapes in orbs. Such a shape appeared multiple times in most of 3300+ consecutive photos. In some of these photos we see a kind of 3D effect in which the tombstone shape seems to have depth, about the same depth as an actual tombstone might have. The effect occured by a positioning of two flat-looking orbs (both with a tombstone-shaped hole in them) in a particular way so that the "tombstone" seems to have a kind of depth. I will draw attention below to the photos in which this 3D-effect seems to occur.
About half of all tombstones have a flat top, and the tombstone shapes here have a flat top. See here and here for a series of photos I took on day showing rounded-top tombstone shapes in orbs.
