Sharp Right Angle Turn by Speeding Orb in Grand Central Station

Below is a photo taken in Grand Central Station in New York.

Below is a closeup of the anomalous object shown at the top of the photo.

We seem to see here an orb moving very fast, much faster than the shutter speed of the camera. This creates the effect photographers call ghosting. We also seem to see a sharp right-angle turn, which rules out the possibility that this motion may be caused by a bird or an insect, which never make sharp right-angle turns.
