The photos below show two purple orbs I photographed above buildings in New York City. The one on the right seems to have colors of both purple and green.
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 37. The pollen count listed on pollen.com was "low," with a rating of 0.1.
