I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. We see orbs that have a very thick wavy stripe at their top, with a tiny bit of the orb visible above such a stripe. Above such strange orb tops are veil-like shapes resembling rounded hills.
