The One-Hole Pattern Became a Two-Hole Pattern

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. On this day I first got an orb pattern consisting of a single hole in the middle right part of each pattern.  Below are some examples:

Then we had some "pattern progress," for the one-hole pattern became a two-hole pattern, as shown in the examples below:
