I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. We see an orb pattern consisting of two holes. The pattern persisted for many photos, and gained an additional detail that I will show in another post.
At the 36 second mark in the video below, you can see my camera viewfinder as I photographed the pattern shown above.
