I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. On this day I got thousands of orbs with lemon-shaped holes. Such orbs with lemon-shaped holes appeared in almost all of 400+ consecutive photos. In many of the photos you can barely see on the right bottom part of the orbs an additional feature: a kind of faint bagel-shaped feature.
