Ghostly Embrace?

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York City. We can immediately notice here the interesting detail of an orb that seems to be resting on the top of the US flag.

But there is something more interesting in this photo, and the closeup below (from the bottom left) shows it.  We see an orb in front of a woman's legs. But it also looks as if there is some strange mistiness or energy that is wrapping around the woman's waist.

On the same day I took the astonishing photo below, which shows the same effect more dramatically. We seem to see here the handbag of a woman and the foot of a woman. But it is almost as if most of the body is being covered by some strange ghostly blob.
