The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see some weird stringy things unlike any I have seen in my photos of water drops. The only thing that looks a little familiar here is at the top, where it looks like one of the congruent stacks of orb veils that I have previously photographed.
