3 Mandorla Symbols Appear in Drops of Pure, Clean Water

Photo date: September 11, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.

The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see 3 occurrences of something very strange: a symbol called a mandorla. According to this web page, the mandorla is a symbol consisting of two intersecting circles, with an almond shape between them.  The page says, "Although the symbol has its origins before the Christian era, the early Christians used the symbol as a method to describe the coming together of heaven and earth, between the divine and human." We also see several mysterious crescent shapes.
