The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure,
clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see a beautiful example of one of the strange things I call orb veils.
Based on what is shown at the bottom, we seem to have an orange orb veil that is above a blue orb veil with exactly the same shape. On top of the orb veil there floats a strange ring of what I call orb crescents (although they can only barely be seen in this photo). .
These orb veils often appear in congruent stacks, as you can see from the poster below (right click to see the image at its full resolution).
