She Gets Orb Comet Tails Like Mine
I have so far posted 26 posts labeled "orb comet tail," all of which were taken in completely dry weather. The accomplished orb photographer Yvonne Scouller recently put up a photo showing more than 15 of these "orb comet tails" appearing in a single photo. The "tails" in her photo look just like the "tails" in my posts labeled "orb comet tail."
Orbs Keep Appearing on the Flag Edges
We will now see a series of 4 previously unpublished photos taken in Grand Central Station in New York. They will all show the same things: mysterious floating orbs positioned on the edge of a large flag in the station.
Here is the first photo, from August 26, 2015. Note the orb on the left edge of the flag.
Here is another photo from the same day. Now an orb is on the bottom edge of the flag.
Here is a photo taken from August 29, 2015. Look closely to see the large orb on the top right edge of the flag.
Here is another photo which was the next photo taken after the photo above (on August 29). It looks like the same orb has moved over, and is now on the top left edge of the flag.
What is the chance of this all happening coincidentally? One in a million, perhaps?

Are Sky Orbs Stealing Power From Our Electrical Wires?
Photo date: August 28, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows some orbs near electrical wires in New York City (the moon is at the bottom of the photo). We see a bunch of mysterious orbs floating near the wires. Could it be that they are sucking out some of the electrons passing through the wires?
Here is another photo from the same night, also showing orbs near electrical wires.
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air was very clean, and was listed with a level of only 6 when I checked on airnow.gov (anything below 50 is considered good).

The Ancient Obelisk, the Purple Orb, and the Strange Winged Things
Photo date: August 23, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows the top of Cleopatra's Needle, an ancient obelisk brought from Egypt to Central Park in New York.
We see a large purple orb next to the obelisk. We also see some strange winged thing floating about.
On the same night I photographed another winged thing floating next to this same obelisk.
Of course, it is possible that we are merely seeing insects here (although the big purple orb cannot be an insect). I think it is curious, though, that I have taken thousands of night photos at many different places, and my photos have only shown luminous-looking winged things near this ancient obelisk.
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 24 (anything below 50 is considered good).

The Bright Blue Orb and the Big Orbs
Photo date: August 26, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
In the photo below we see a bright blue orb mysteriously floating above the Met Life building in New York City.
On the same night I took the photo below showing two large purple orbs near the Met Life building. What we see below is the exact original photo, except that I decreased the "gamma correction" factor. Since the photo was not cropped, the larger orb is a full 12% of the original height. Such an orb is way too big to be a particle of dust. Given an area of about 15000 microns (15 millimeters) just in front of a camera lens, a dust particle would have to be about 1800 microns to appear as large as this in a photo. But in fact, even in a choking dust storm, the suspended dust particles are no larger than 1000 microns (and the actual airborne dust particles on a night like this only have an average size of about 1 micron).

Baby Orb Clinging to Its Mother?
Photo date: August 26, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Station in New York.
The photo is a closeup cropped from the photo below:
We can only speculate why the smaller orb is clinging to the larger orb. Maybe it's a baby orb clinging to its mother.

Orb Veil Reappears With the Exact Same 14-Point Shape
Photo date: August 29, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
Let us now look at a most astonishing pair of photos in which we see an inexplicable exact duplication that is very strong evidence that something paranormal was occurring.
Both photos were taken while I was photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark background. My camera was resting on a stable platform.
The first photo in the pair is below. We see one of the objects I call "orb veils." I have 47 photos of these strange objects. The photo also shows the equally mysterious objects I call "orb crescents." I have 37 photos of these strange objects, which are as hard to explain as the orb veils.
After taking this photo I took two other photos which showed no such object. When I took these photos the camera was in the exact same position, facing the same background.
I then took the photo below, which was taken roughly 20 seconds after the first photo. The photo below shows another orb veil. Very importantly, this orb veil has exactly the same very distinctive shape as the orb veil shown in the first photo.
I count some 14 exterior points or spiky edges on the first photo, and I see exactly the same points in exactly the same positions in the second photo. Moreover, in the bottom part of the orb veil shown in the first photo, we see two eye-like features consisting of concentric rings. If you look closely at the second photo, you can see exactly the same features, in the same area of the orb veil.
So what we see here is an orb veil reappearing with exactly the same very distinctive shape that we saw before. Between the first photograph and the second photograph, the unmoved camera on a platform took 2 photos that showed no such thing. So this is a case that we must call a reappearance.
This exact reappearance is sufficient to rule out all normal explanations for these orb veils. I can only think of two natural explanations for why one might see an orb veil like this in a photo: (1) perhaps we might be seeing some kind of "water splash" while photographing falling water drops; (2) perhaps we might be seeing some kind of "light flare" rather like lens flare. But under such natural explanations, we would expect the shapes of the orb veils to have a completely random appearance each time. We would never expect to see two orb veils photographed in the same photo session to have exactly the same very distinctive shape, with each of 14 spiky points being in the same position. The chance of such a thing occurring by chance is less than 1 in a trillion (1 in 1,000,000,000,000).
Below is a photo that combines the two images.
The photo before the first photo and the photo after the second photo (both taken of the same background from the same fixed camera position) did not show any such orb veil. So there was this series of photos from the same fixed camera position: 1. No orb veil. 2. Orb veil with a distinctive 14-point shape. 3. No orb veil. 4. No orb veil. 5. Orb veil with the exact same 14-point shape. 6. No orb veil.

Mysterious Sky Orbs Upstage the Supermoon
Photo date: August 29, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
On this night we had what is called a "super moon" -- a moon that seems particularly bright in the sky. Not content to let the moon have all the glory in my photos, some mysterious orbs appeared while I was photographing the moon.
Here is the first such photo, showing a moving orb with a "comet tail" above the "super moon."
Here is another photo showing an orange orb in the right corner that appears much larger than the "super moon" which appears in the bottom left corner.
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 46.

Toothy Smile of a Moving Orb?
Photo date: August 22, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Station in New York. We see in the top left corner an orb that seems to be moving fast. The camera seems to have captured two different position states of a speeding object.
Below is a closeup of the orb. If you look closely, you can see what looks rather like a "toothy smile," along with two faint eyes.

Bright Blue Orb Hovers Mysteriously
Photo date: August 24, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows a blue orb hovering above the top of a tower in Manhattan. The photo is a simple crop of a larger photo, without any tint or color adjustment. A color this bright and vivid rules out any possibility we are seeing a dust particle here. Suspended dust particles never look anywhere near as bright and vivid-colored as this when they are photographed (something that can only occur under very dusty conditions very different from the conditions under which this photo was taken).
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 39.

Face of a Moving Orb

The photo below was taken of a featureless wall indoors. We see an orb that seems to be moving very fast, judging from the motion blur on one side. We can seem to see a face on the orb, and we can almost get the impression of some calm or gentle personality.
See this link for a video of 88 speeding orbs.

There, But Invisible to Our Eyes
Photo date: August 24, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows some towers near the southeast corner of Central Park in New York. Floating near them are some mysterious orbs, including a large peach-colored orb. The full-spectrum camera has revealed a reality that floast above us, but which we cannot see because our eyes cannot see the infrared and the ultraviolet.

A Good Place for an Orb to Rest
Photo date: August 20, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows the circular information desk in the middle of Grand Central Station in New York (right-click to see the photo at its full resolution). We see resting on the top surface a mysterious orb. I guess if you're an orb floating around this great station, this is as good a place as any to stop and rest.
The orb appears above a figure with a highly anomalous appearance.
See my posts labeled "orb near physical orb" for quite a few other photos showing an orb hanging out at this particular spot.

Mysterious Orbs "Build a Spire" for the Met Life Building
Photo date: August 26, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
Having a flat top, the Met Life Building in New York City is much less interesting from an architectural standpoint than the nearby Chrysler Building, which has a glorious tapering top. But for a fleeting instant, this architectural shortcoming was overcome by three mysterious orbs. As you can see below, they have "built a spire" for the Met Life Building, by forming a big triangle on its top.
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good."

Bright Orb Gives an "Information Hint"
Photo date: August 26, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Station in New York. We see a bright orb that is positioned exactly over the word "Information" at the top of a sign at the station. Is this just coincidence, or is it a meaningful hint? Perhaps this orb is telling us that we can get important information by studying orbs.

Three Orb "Straddlers" in Two Consecutive Photos
Photo date: August 26, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Station in New York. In this photo we see two blue orbs that both are kind of "straddling" a physical line in the station, with half of the orb on the left of the line, and half of the orb on the right of the line. The smaller "straddler" can be seen at the bottom of the photo, at the bottom of the stairs.
The very next photo showed another orb "straddler." Again we see half of the orb on the left of a physical line, and the other half of the orb on the right of the physical line.
Are these mysterious things deliberately positioning their middles on these lines in the station?

Sky Orbs Liven Up 42nd Street
Photo date: August 24, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
Ah, 42nd Street, the street that inspired a very successful film and Broadway musical (both named 42nd Street). There are many bright lights on the west side of 42nd Street, but not so many on the east side of the street. But on this night some mysterious floating orbs helped make the east side of 42nd Street look as gaudy and glittery as the west side of the street (at least for an instant).

An Infinity Symbol Appears in a Photo of Clean Water Drops
Photo date: June 7, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark background. We see two ring-like objects that have combined to form the symbol of infinity. I find the appearance of such a symbol in a photo of ordinary water drops to be as mystifying as the very concept of infinity.

Is That You, Queen Cleopatra?
Photo date: August 23, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows Cleopatra's Needle in Central Park. This obelisk was brought over from Egypt, and dates from about 1450 B.C. We see some mysterious orbs floating around this ancient object. Neither of the top objects was the moon, which was only a half moon on this night.
At the very top of the obelisk, we see an orb with a vivid blue color.
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 24 (anything below 50 is rated as good). The air at this spot was extremely clean, not just because the air on this day was very clean, but also because the location is far from the nearest street with car traffic.

Spooky Swarm: 7 Photos of an Orb Storm
Photo date: August 24, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photos below were all taken at 10:00 PM on August 24, 2015. Although the results will look quite similar to what was shown in this previous post, these photos are from one week later.
Below is the first photo in the series, which shows not very much going on. We see the Chrysler Building, the Met Life Building, and Grand Central Station.
The next photo in the series shows a huge swarm of orbs.
The next photo in the series also shows a huge swarm of orbs.
The next photo in the series shows a piece of cardboard I photographed at arm's length, to verify that the orbs I was seeing were not natural particles near the camera. As always, this test showed no orbs in front of the cardboard, indicating I was not photographing natural particles (such as dust) near the camera. (See my 23 posts labeled "cardboard test" for other similar tests in the middle of photographing many orbs, none showing any orbs in front of the cardboard.)
The next photo in the series shows a huge swarm of orbs.
The next photo in the series shows a huge swarm of orbs. Notice how some of the orbs seem to form a kind of angle shape that is rather similar to the triangular top of the Chrysler Building.
The next photo in the series shows a much smaller number of orbs.
The last photo in the series shows quite a few orbs.
Notice how this series of photos shows more than 500 orbs above the building at bottom (Grand Central Station), but we see a total of only about 7 orbs in front of that building (all of which are very small). This overwhelming "orb vertical bias" is very strong evidence that we are not seeing any type of natural particles (such as dust) floating near the camera. If these photos showed natural particles near the camera, such particles would be randomly distributed around the photo area.
In the posts here, here, and here we also see equally strong evidence of this "orb vertical bias." In all of those posts, we see a series of photos in which there are hundreds of orbs floating above a building at the bottom of the photo, with almost no orbs in front of that building. Such observations very strongly discredit any theory that natural particles near the camera are the source of the orbs in these photos.
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 39. The photos showing orbs in this post were all uploaded directly from the camera, without any cropping or changes of any type. You can right-click on these high resolution photos to see them at their full resolution.
