Photo date: July 15, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
In order to explain the main photo of this post, I will first show a later photo, one taken on July 31, 2015 The photo was taken in Grand Central Station, and shows (near the top of the photo) a mysterious blue orb that seems to be resting on a ledge-like surface.
Now below is a photo taken on July 15, 2015. It shows an orb that is positioned on the same ledge-like surface as the orb shown above. But there is a big difference: this photo was taken while my camera was accidentally moving.
Now we see that every single thing in this photo (except for the orb) has a very strong "camera motion blur." So we expect that if we zoom in on the blue orb near the top of the photo, that it also will have a very strong "camera motion blur."
But instead the closeup shows no such thing. The orb is not blurred. It is half-blocked, but the orb is not blurred. The part of the orb that is not blocked does not look blurred.
There is no way to explain such a thing under conventional assumptions. We seem to have here a strong hint that orbs are some paranormal phenomena operating outside of the regular rules of optics. According to the rules of optics, the orb shown above should absolutely look as blurred as the lights in front of it; but instead the orb shows no sign of blurring.
The same effect is shown in the two photos in this post.
