I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a black featureless background. We see three strange columns. In the first each orb has both a large hole on the left and a small hole on the right. In the second column each orb has a rectangular-looking hole or mark on its left. In the third, each orb has a semi-circular hole on the left.
