The photo below was taken on Fifth Avenue in New York. In front of the Bank of America tower, we see a mysterious orb floating in the sky. This is definitely not the moon. I can recall getting no orange orbs in my first month of photography with a full spectrum camera. But now orange orbs are starting to show up more and more often in my photographs.
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 41.
