Orb Storm Transforms the Sky

Photo date: August 3, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin,

The photo below was taken at 9:53 PM, and shows Grand Central Station, the Met Life building, and the Chrysler Building. We see an astonishingly dense swarm of orbs.

Note that we see a very dense swarm of orbs in back of the building in front (Grand Central Station), but none of the 50 largest orbs are in front of that building. This clearly indicates that these orbs were not dust or any other natural particles very close to the camera (for in that case, such particles would have been randomly scattered across the picture area).

The same "vertical bias" is shown in the photo below. We see very many orbs, but none of the orbs are in front of the building at bottom. This is a very clear indication that we are not seeing here dust, pollen, water vapor, or any other particles very close to the camera.

There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 41.
