The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. At the top we see two examples of what I call orb veils, which are seen here from an unusual angle. The main part of the photo shows lots of crescent shapes, which are arranged in a pattern that exhibits radial symmetry. It is as if these crescent shapes are emanating from some vortex in the center, where we some strange orange misty thing.
