Photo date: December 17, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photos below were taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. The first photo shows what I frequently photograph: a pair of strange veil-like structures (what I call orb veils) appearing in a congruent stack, with two or more of the objects having the same shape. The bottom photo was taken three photos after the first photo. It shows the orb veil object reappearing with the same shape. So the sequence was:
Photo 1: Two orb veils with the same shape.
Photo 2: No orb veil.
Photo 3: No orb veil.
Photo 4: One orb veil with the same distinctive shape as in photo 1.
This is the third time I have seen this type of reappearance occurring with orb veils. The other two cases (which involved more distinctive shapes, one with 14 distinctive points) are here and here. It's kind of like what you would experience if you first saw a ghost and then it disappeared and then it reappeared again with the same look as before.
