Orb Speeds Past the Christmas Wreath

Photo date: December 21, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  We see two mysterious orbs near a Christmas wreath. The one on the left seems to be moving very fast.  We see the photographic effect called ghosting, in which the camera captures two different position states of a speeding object. An effect like this is only produced by a rapidly speeding object, something many times faster than a speck of dust (dust specks drift around at only 2 miles per hour).
