I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. We see a two-part orb pattern that persisted through almost all of hundreds of consecutive photos. The pattern broke a slump of about six or seven days in which I failed to get anything notable enough to publish on this blog.
