The Right Hole Was Always Bigger

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  On this day I got in almost all of 400+ consecutive photos an orb pattern consisting of a small hole on the left and a larger hole on the right.
