A Poster of Mysterious Orb Crescents

The composite photo below shows 16 photos I have taken of the baffling objects I call orb crescents. All of the photos were taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background.  Right click to see the image at its full resolution. As you can see from the photos below, orb crescents normally appear in a white color, although they sometimes appear with a color of orange, yellow or blue.  See this link for 56 photos I have taken of these inexplicable objects.
