The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see another example of the shockingly weird anomaly I call the light metamorphosis, in which light rays rise way up, often bending in bizarre ways. Look at the strange weirdness rising from the TV screens -- something that looks like twisty blue smoke.
The camera was not moving when this photo was taken, as you can tell from the sharpness of details other than the lights. The photo was a flash photos with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings (no "Night picture" setting).

Sky Orbs Make Times Square a Little More Glitzy
Photo date: January 28, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows four skyscrapers in the Times Square area of New York City. It's a glitzy area that was made even glitzier by the presence of these mysterious sky orbs floating about.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The pollen count listed on pollen.com was very low, with a level of only 0.1.

Levitation of the TV Word, and Light Bending Like a Mobius Strip
Photo date: January 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
I have recently been taking an incredibly strange series of photos that make me wonder whether some strange spirit energy is making itself known near my TV. You can see dozens of previous photos along these lines by looking at this jaw-dropping series of photos. Below are some more. Notice that all details are sharp in these authentic unaltered photos except for the rising light, which shows the camera was not moving when the photos were taken.
The first photo shows the word "Soundscapes" from the TV levitating way above the TV screen.
A closeup shows the word "Soundscapes" readable way above the TV.
The next image shows the TV image rising up and apparently bending like some Mobius strip. You can see from the rays coming from the cable box clock that the light is rising way up, then falling, then rising up again.
Another photo showed the letters "MC" rising way up above the TV.
Finally we see a photo showing the light bending like some sheet of paper being folded into an arch shape.
The photos were flash photos with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings (no "Night picture" setting).

Orb Swarm Crowds the Sky
Photo date: January 29, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows a dense swarm of orbs above a building in New York City on a dry night. I haven't photographed a swarm of orbs this dense since September, 2015, although I have previously photographed many such swarms, as you can see here.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 48. The pollen count listed on pollen.com was very low, with a level of only 0.1.

The "Ghost" Bent Right, and Then Bent Left
Photo date: January 25, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photos show strange transformations of the light coming from a building in New York City. Here is the first photo, which showed nothing unusual.
But the next photo showed the light from the sign rising up.
The next photo showed this ghostly light rising even higher.
When I moved a little to the right, I got the same "rising ghost" effect, but this time the "ghost" was tilting to the left.
The camera was held stable while all of these photos were taken. The photos were flash photos with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings (no "Night picture" setting).

Green Orb and Its Sky Pals
Photo date: January 30, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows a group of orbs floating above a post office in New York.
Below is a closeup of the far right. We see a rare green orb.
I have 66 other photos of green orbs in the air, which can be seen here.

Speed Inside a Water Drop
Photo date: January 30, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see a water drop that seems to have within it orbs that are spinning about very rapidly. It's another example of what I call the orb centrifuge effect, shown very dramatically in this composite image.

Were the Freaky Light Rays Sucked Up By Some Spirit Force?
Photo date: January 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows the Schwartzman branch of the New York Public Library. We see the strange effect I call the light metamorphosis, in which light rays rise way up from their source, often bending in weird ways. Here we see the light rays rising very high and bending to the right.
Notice that all details in this photo are sharp and non-streaked, except for the light rays, showing that the effect was not produced by a moving camera (which would have caused everything to be streaked). The exposure time was only 1/30 of a second on this flash photo (normal camera settings were used, no "Night Photo" settings)..

Is My TV Becoming a Spirit Box?
Photo date: January 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
Some people claim that they can use a device called a spirit box to communicate with the dead. I don't know whether that is true, but I do know that I have recently been taking an incredibly strange series of photos that make me wonder whether some strange spirit energy is making itself known near my TV. You can see dozens of previous photos along these lines by looking at this jaw-dropping series of photos. Below are some more. The first photo shows the letters "MC" rising up above the TV screen. Notice that light from the cable box clock is rising up, and making the same right turn.
The next photo shows an equally dramatic bit of weirdness.
The next photo shows the TV image rising way above the TV.
In this photo you can tell from the light from the cable box that the light rays are first rising and then falling.
The photo below again shows the light rising way up and then turning to the right.
In this photo the word "Soundscapes" rises well above the TV screen.
A closeup shows that we can read the entire word "Soundscapes" in its elevated state above the TV.
The photo below (P1250095) shows the effect even more clearly, with the word "Soundscapes" sharply visible above the TV screen...
...as you can see from the closeup below, which shows that each letter has its own little ghostly trail.
The photos were flash photos with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings (no "Night picture" setting).

Odd "Patriotism" of the Water Drop Orbs

Weird Central Station
Photo date: January 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photos below were taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York (commonly called Grand Central Station). The first photo shows a mysterious orb speeding by at the top of the station, something I have very often photographed at this location.
The next photo shows what I call the light metamorphosis (shown in these posts), in which light rays seem to rise way up from their source, often bending in all kinds of weird, inexplicable ways. In this example, we don't see much bending -- we just see the light rays rising up insanely high.
The photos were flash photos, using normal camera settings (no "Night picture" setting).

The Thicket of Purple "Sky Swords"
Photo date: January 27, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows an ordinary building in New York that has been radiantly transformed by the strange light metamorphosis effect that has appeared in my photos this month, in which light rises way up above where it originated, often making mysterious twists and bends.
The photo below showed the same effect.
The camera was not moving when the photos above were taken, as you can tell from the sharpness of all the window details above. Below is what the building normally looks like.

The photo below was taken in Times Square in New York City, and shows something I have never photographed before: a striped orb in the sky.
Below is a closeup of the mysterious orb.
I have taken 19 photos showing mysterious striped orbs that appeared while I was photographing water drops, but this was the first time I have photographed a striped orb in the sky.
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night. The pollen count listed on pollen.com was very low, with a level of only 0.1.

The TV Light Dripped Out of the TV Set
Photo date: January 25, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
Below are some more photos showing the very astonishing phenomenon I call the light metamorphosis (shown in these posts), in which light rays seem to rise up and bend about in all kinds of weird, inexplicable ways. The photos were all taken while the camera was not moving, as you can see from the sharpness of all photo details except the light rays.
The first image shows something truly staggering. The TV image not only seems to protrude out of the set, but actually appears in front of a statuette blocking the bottom part of the TV.
Below is a closeup. We see the yellow light rays protruding in front of the statuette, and also the light rays from the cable box clock seeming to drip down like falling water.
In this photo we see the light from the TV rising up and then making a sharp right-angle turn. You can see the light from the cable box clock making the same right-angle turn.
In this photo the light seemed to rise up and be bent, like some crumpled sheet of paper.
Finally this photo shows the light from the TV rising astonishingly high up from the TV set.
The photos were flash photos with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings (no "Night picture" setting).

Orb Behind the Distant Light
Photo date: January 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. Photos like these refute the idea that orbs are specks of dust near the camera. We see here a mysterious orb that seems to be quite clearly behind the light that was far away from the camera. See here for 46 similar photos showing distant orbs.

The Bending Light Rays Made a Right-Angle Turn
Photo date: January 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see an example of the strange phenomenon I call the light metamorphosis, in which light rises up mysteriously, often making strange twists and turns. Here we see the astonishing sight of light rays that move to the left and then make a sharp 90 degree turn, rising way up after the turn. Such an effect is naturally inexplicable.
The digital camera was held stable while the flash photo was taken, as you can see from the sharp, non-streaked appearance of all details other than the light rays. The exposure time was only 1/30 of a second (no "Night Photo" settings were used). Open the photo in a separate browser tab to see it at higher resolution.
Another photo from the same day showed the light rays getting all squiggly at this location.
See here for 24 posts showing this bizarre phenomenon.

Bizarre Bending of the Twisting Squiggly Light Rays

The next photo makes us wonder whether some strange force was pulling the image out of the screen, and twisting the image at the same time.
The next photo shows the TV image moving to the left, and then moving up.
In the next photo the TV image (and the light from the clock) first moves down, and then moves up, and to the right.
A closeup of the cable box clock shows the weird "first down, then up" motion of the light rays.
Another photo shows the light moving down, to the left, and then up again.
A closeup showing the cable box clock shows the weird, twisty motion of the light rays.
And finally we see another example of the rays moving down and then up. In this case there is a squiggly motion that makes it look almost as if the TV image was pulled into the wall.
A closeup of the cable box clock shows light rays first going down, and then going up.
The exposure time on all these authentic unaltered flash photos was only 1/30 of a second (normal camera settings were used). I may note that the camera that took these photos (and all of my photos labeled "light metamorphosis") is an old digital Olympus camera, so we can't explain these anomalies as some kind of darkroom anomaly.
