I have shown an incredibly strange photographic anomaly in which light
seems to rise up like drifting smoke: the effect I call the light
metamorphosis. Below we see some more authentic unaltered examples of this weird, weird phenomenon. The photos were are all taken while the camera was stable, as you can see from the sharpness of the statuettes in front of the TV.
The first photo shows the letters "MC" from my TV set drifting way, way up above the TV set. You can also see the light drifting up from the clock of the cable box, and the alarm clock with the red letters.
The second photo shows the light rays moving in a very different direction -- to the side. Note that both the cable box time and the alarm clock time also drift over to the side, as if they were blown by some paranormal wind.
Below is one more example.
Below is a closeup of the alarm clock. We see the red light rising up, then bending to the right, then rising up again. It's a zig-zag motion that is utterly inexplicable.
The photos were flash photos with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings (no "Night picture" setting).
