In this post and this
post I showed some spectacular photos showing a strange mysterious
effect I call the light metamorphosis, an effect in which light seems to
drift away from a light source like rising smoke. Below are some more
authentic examples of this bizarre anomaly. In the first, the letters "MC" rise up above the TV set. The camera was not moving in any of these photos, as you can tell by the fact that none of the details are streaked except those involving the emitted light.
Another photo from the same day showed the same strange effect.
A closeup of the photo above shows the light from the cable box clock rising up in a weird wiggly manner.
The photos were flash photos with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings (no "Night picture" setting). This strange effect is one that does normally occur when I photograph with the camera that took these photos. The first several photos I took of the TV with this camera showed no such effect.
