I have shown an incredibly strange photographic anomaly in which light
seems to rise up like drifting smoke: the effect I call the light
metamorphosis. On this day my photos again showed this phenomenon. The photos below were taken while the camera was stable, as you call from the fact that all of the details are sharp except for the strange light.
The first photo shows the light from the TV rising up and drifting to the left.
Another photo showed the TV image rising up to the right.
Below is a closeup showing the light from the clock on the cable box. Look at how squiggly the light rays look.
Below is another example. The letters "MC" rise up way up from the TV set and seem to float in the air.
These are all authentic photos that have not been altered in any way. The photos were flash photos with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings (no "Night picture" setting). The photos were taken by an old Olympus point-and-click camera that normally produces no such effect.
