The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see an example of the amazing effect I call the light metamorphosis (shown in these posts), in which light rays seem to rise up and bend about in
all kinds of weird, inexplicable ways. The photo was taken while
the camera was not moving, as you can tell from the sharpness of all photo
details except the light rays.
The exposure time on this flash photo was only 1/30 of a second. The camera used normal settings, not a "Night Photo" setting.
