In this post and this
post I showed some spectacular photos showing a strange mysterious
effect I call the light metamorphosis, an effect in which light seems to
drift away from a light source like rising smoke. Below is another
authentic example of this bizarre anomaly. The camera was stable while
this photo was taken, as you can tell from the fact that only the light
from the TV looks streaked, not any other details in this photo.
The exposure time on this flash photo was only 1/30 of a second. The photo was taken by an old point-and-click Olympus camera that normally produces no such anomaly.
If you examine the photo in a separate browser tab, you will some interesting details. Every single letter on each of six lines has its own little ghostly streak rising up from it.
