The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see light rays rising far up from their sources, making snaky paths that make a mockery out of the claim that light always travels in straight lines.
Another photo from the same day shows the same effect. We can see from the sharp details here that this was not caused by a moving camera (which would have caused everything in the photo to look streaked).
The photos were flash photos with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings (no "Night photo" setting). The photos were taken by an old point-and-click digital camera using no special settings.
