The unaltered photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see the strange phenomenon I call the light metamorphosis, in which light rises up from its source, often bending in strange ways. In this example we see what I have shown many times occurring with my own home TV set: the levitation of a TV image. At the center of the photo, we see two image rectangles rising up above the TV screens where they originated (there were only 3 TV screens in this part of the station). This is the same effect I have photographed 15 times occurring on my own home TV, as shown in this series of posts.

The photo was a flash photo with an exposure time of 1/30 of a second, using normal camera settings
(no "Night picture" setting).
