The photo below was taken with my camera at arm's length, so the strange thing at the left was almost certainly not my breath. We seem to see here another example of the strange phenomenon called ecto-mist -- a strange ghostly mist that for some reason often seems to take forms that look rather like animals.
In this case, we something that looks rather like a gerbil or a hamster.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good." The pollen level listed on pollen.com was low, with a level of only 0.3.
