Alignment of the Floating Blue Orbs

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a floating blue orb that has both its top and its bottom aligned to a physical line in the architecture. I see these orbs aligning to lines behind them very often, much more often than I would expect to see by chance.

And speaking of aligning blue orbs, here is another example from the same day.  This blue orb looks as if it has found a nice perch to rest on.
