Odd Orb and the Strange, Strange Figures

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  We see a mysterious blue orb floating about -- but it isn't the strangest thing in the picture.  To the left and right of a very ordinary-looking man, we see two strange sights. On the right is what somehow looks like some kind of giant brown figure. On the left we see a figure that looks like a woman on the bottom -- but the top half of the figure somehow looks like a cute grinning ape with a gigantic head.
