The photo below shows another example of the strange effect I call the light metamorphosis. When this effect occurs, light rays seem to be amplified enormously, and often rise way up, sometimes bending in strange ways. In this example, it is as if the light rays had some ambition of touching the clouds.
The photo was taken in front of the Schwartzman branch of the New York Public Library.
