Here's a little quiz. What three anomalies can you detect in the unaltered photo below, showing someone in Grand Central Station in New York?
Here's the answer. The first anomaly is that the figure seems to have a tail. The second anomaly is that the figure seems to have a huge snout like the snout of an anteater. The third anomaly is that the figure seems to have some kind of snake wrapped around his foot.
Now, using our imagination, we can probably explain away the first anomaly, by supposing that the figure is holding an umbrella behind his back. We might also explain away the third anomaly, by imagining that perhaps the man stepped into some long rope-like trash, and forgot to remove it from his foot. But I have no idea how one can explain away the second anomaly, that the figure seems to have a huge snout like the snout of an anteater.
