Bright and Fast

Photo date: March 11, 2015.  Photographer: Mark Mahin.

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Station in New York. We see yet another example of a bright fast-moving orb. We can tell the orb was moving fast because the motion blur shown in the object.

This can't be an insect, because it's too round shaped. It can't be dust, because a dust particle photographed in the air never appears this bright (dust reflects little light). Also, indoor dust moves at an average speed of 2 miles an hour, but the motion blur indicates this object is moving many times faster than that.
