Let us now carefully ponder a very, very puzzling mystery.
At Grand Central Station in New York, they have a number of advertisement screens which show completely conventional advertisements, which are cycled, with a cycle time of a few seconds. A typical ad might advertise an event in New York, or a local store. The signs never show video clips, and always show photos that include some easily readable advertising text.
On this particular day, one of the advertisement screens showed a very strange image. Below is the photo that showed this image.
Here is a closeup showing the eerie ad image.
Now there are two strange things about this image I absolutely cannot explain.
The first strange thing is that there is no advertising text. Since they never show video clips on these screens, but only show ads with advertising text, how can this image be missing any text?
The second strange thing is that we see no humans in this image. We instead seem to see some strange alien-looking head in the top right corner. If they ever played video clips on these screens, we might explain this image as some scene from a science-fiction movie trailer. But these ad screens at Grand Central Station never play video clips, and only display ads with easily readable text.
Perhaps we can just call this image an advertisement from the Twilight Zone.
