Ghostly Gallop of a Bright Moving Orb

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  We see on the right a very bright moving orb that seems to be moving very rapidly.

Below is a closeup.  Note the blob of motion blur.

I photograph this type of anomaly almost every time I photograph at this location, and I now have 212 photos showing orbs that seem to be speeding (see here for some posters of them).

Unidentified Floating Triangle

The photo below shows the top of the Chrysler Building in New York City. Above it we see a mysterious triangle of purple orbs.

There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this windy night with very clean air. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 21 (anything below 50 is considered good).

Red Orb Mystifies Us

The photo below shows a mysterious red orb floating above the Time Warner Center in New York City. This was not the moon, which was not visible above these towers when the photo was taken.

There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night with very clean air. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 21 (anything below 50 is considered good). At the time this photo was taken, there were brisk winds blowing.

Moving Orb is a Wavy Wonder

The photo below was taken at an indoor location in New York City. We see an orb that seems to be speeding very fast. Notice the lower half of this photo. We seem to see a wavy motion here, with two changes of direction in a very short space. It's the same kind of wavy undulation effect shown in these 18 photos.

There were no insects observed nearby when this photo was taken.

A Tan-Colored Orb Veil

The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see one of the strange objects I call orb veils.  This one has a tan color I've never seen before in these objects (which typically appear as white or orange).  See this photo stream for 82 other photos of these strange objects.

Orb Crescent "Half Faces"

The photos below were all taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background.  While taking such photos I very often get photos that seem to show orb faces, as in this video and the example below from October 25, 2015.

While taking such photos, I also often get photos of what I call orb crescents, as shown here and in the photo below from October 3, 2015.

The photo below from October 30, 2015 seems to combine these two things. We see some crescent-shaped orbs that seem to have half faces.

The photo above resembles this photo, which shows the same type of crescent half faces.

A Spooky Sight Above the Tombstones

The photo below shows a very unusual sight above some tombstones near the center of the picture.

I can imagine the objection that a skeptic can make: "That was just your camera strap." No, I am 100% certain that it was not my camera strap, for two reasons. The first reason is that I had my hand inside the loop of my camera strap when I took the picture, meaning this could not have been my camera strap. The second reason is that the ratio between the width of my camera strap and the length of my camera strap is about 28, but the ratio between the width of this luminous line and its length is about 40.

Below is a picture of the camera strap of the camera used to take this photo. As you can see, it looks very different from what we see above.

Below is a closeup of part of the photo above (with the Gamma correction slightly reduced). We can seem to see within part of the line a circular orb.

What we seem to have in the top photo is a photo of an orb moving incredibly fast. It cannot possibly be a photo of an insect, because insects don't move even a tenth as fast as the speed needed to produce such an effect. It also cannot be one of my hairs, as my hair is very short.

There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality was listed as "good" on airnow.gov.

Bright Sky Speeders Baffle Us

The photo below shows a street in New York City. We see a purple orb that seems to have aligned itself exactly to the flag tip. To the right, we see a bright orb that seems to be speeding upward.

On the previous night I photographed something similar. The photo below shows a bright orb speeding next to St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York.

On both of these nights there was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation, and the air quality was listed as "good" on airnow.gov.

Huge Purple Orb and Its Smaller Pals

The photo below (taken on a dry windy night with very clean air) shows a building in New York City. To the left we see a large purple orb, and to the right we see two smaller orbs.  The larger orb was 56% of the original photo height.

The previous photo taken that night, from the same angle, showed no such anomaly.

There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 23 (anything below 50 is considered good). There were brisk 18 mile an hour winds.

Two Mysterious Orbs "Take a Rest"

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.   We see two blue orbs that look as if they are resting on flat surfaces in the station.  The larger one on the left seems to be resting on a window ledge.

Below is a closeup of the orb on the right.  Again we see an orb near one of the station's information windows, something shown lots of times in this series of photos. This post shows two photos of a blue orb floating above the very word "information" that we see below.  Could this be a hint that orbs can give us information?

Bewildering Crescents Near an Orb Veil

This one has some of the spiky points I so often see in these objects. Nearby are some equally hard-to-explain crescent-shaped objects.

Moving Orb Speeds in Two Consecutive Photos

The photo below is a composite showing two back-to-back photos taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  We see a mysterious blue orb that seems to be speeding about in both of the photos.

At another time on the same night, a very similar-looking orb appeared in the photo below.

Just call this speedy guy the Blue Blazer.

3 Mysterious Orbs Play "Tag the Stars"

Let's now look at three photos that show the same thing: a mysterious orb in front of the stars on the US flag at Grand Central Terminal. Here is the first such photo, from October 13, 2015.

Orb Upstages the Full Moon

The unusual photo below shows a full moon above the Chrysler Building in New York City.  The striking moon (and the Chrysler Building) are reflected in a glassy building on the right.  Near the top of the photo, a mysterious orb floats.

A closeup of the orb shows that it has a "split aura" as we often see in orbs. One half of the aura is orange, and the other half is pinkish.

Blue Orbs Continue to Float Near Information Windows

Orb Faces in a Water Drop

The unaltered photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background.  We see a water drop that seems to have several orb faces in it.

Below is a closeup, with the Gamma correction slightly reduced. I would say these things are way cuter than anything we would expect to find in a water drop.

Mind-reading Green Orb?

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  We see a mysterious green orb floating above the flag.

There is a strange story that goes with this photo. The photo was taken at 8:30 PM. Three photos previously, also at 8:30 PM,  I took the photo below, which showed a blue orb, above the blue of the US flag (near the top of the photo).  As I have many photos showing orbs resting exactly on the US flag in this station, I kind of thought to myself, "Come now, appear right on top of the blue part of the flag."  Three photos later, also at 8:30 PM, I got the photo of the green orb, which appeared exactly at the requested position.

Bright Baffling Orb With an Aura

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  We see two orbs floating above the commuters.

A closeup of the lower orb shows a kind of wispy aura around the strange object.

Inside the orb is a little white "L" letter.

Orange Orb is a Sky Stumper

The photo below shows the Empire State Building in New York City. Above the tower top we see a mysterious orange orb that did not appear in any other photo I took of this tower top.  There was a full moon this night, but when this photo was taken (9:42 PM) the moon was in the eastern sky, in a completely opposite direction (this photo was taken near the corner of Fifth Avenue and 34th street, pointing towards the west).

Big Pink Orb on the Shroud

The photo below was taken on 42nd Street in New York, looking toward the Chrysler Building. In front of a building covered by some strange shroud,  we see a pink orb.  Not all that rare a sight in my photos, as I have 57 other photos of pink orbs floating about in the air.

Orb Veils Look Spiky and Spooky

Another photo from the same day looks similar. In both of these photos we see the internal circles so often seen in orb veils, consisting of two or more concentric circles (as in these photos).  In the photo below we seem to see a congruent stack of two orb veils with the same shape, as in these 19 photos.

Orb Eyes Peer Down at the Commuters

Sky Orbs Form a 7 Above the Steeple

The photo below shows a church on Madison Avenue in New York. Near it, we see a bunch of mysterious orbs in several different colors, including cyan, purple, and white. Some of the orbs seem to have formed the number 7 in the sky.

Speeding Red Orb Zooms Past the Trump Tower

Blue Orb Tries Some Arch Antics

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  At the exact top of the big arch at one end of the station, we see what looks like a speeding blue orb that I will show in a closeup below.

Below is a closeup of the strange object. We see a blue orb that seems to be speeding. We can only wonder -- was it going back and forth at the top of the arch curve, like some pinball in one of those curved pinball corners?
