Blue Orb Moves in a Spoon-shaped Loop

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.   We see a blue orb that seems to be making a stunning spoon-shaped motion (a gloomier description might be to say that it is moving in a shape resembling a hangman's noose). The camera seems to have captured multiple position states of an object moving very fast.  Neither dust nor birds nor insects ever move in such a way, with turns this sharp.

The photo above was cropped from the top left corner of the photo below, which also shows a much larger orb on the right.  The next photo showed no such anomaly.
