Most of my photos are taken while photographing the night sky or Grand Central Terminal or water drops. But sometimes I photograph astonishing things while simply photographing a featureless indoor wall. Below are two examples. The first shows a bright orange orb that appeared in a photo, with the apparent size of a grapefruit. No such thing appeared on the next photo of the same spot.
