The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling
against a dark featureless background. We see something that we don't expect to see in a photo of falling water: some triangles. Not just a couple, but more than ten of them. If the water was freezing cold, we might be able to explain these as ice crystals. But the water wasn't too cold, and was just ordinary tap water.
