The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see here what looks like a very strange progression from the top of the photo to the bottom. At the top of the photo, we see what looks like an orb face. As your eyes move down the photo, you see similar-looking orbs, but they seem to be losing more and more of their tops. We see one orb that has lost about 10% of its top, followed by another that has lost 20% of its top, followed by another that has lost 30% of its top, and so forth. Finally by the end of the photo, we see mere crescent shapes. It's as if this photo captured circular orbs morphing into orb crescents.
