The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see one of the mysterious objects I call orb veils, which this blog has shown many 95 times. This example has two of the common characteristics that I see in these objects: lots of spiky points at the edges of the object, and one or more concentric rings. In this example we see seven of the rings, five of which are concentric rings. The orb veil appeared with a size of about 5 inches.
