Taken on a night when the moon was only a thin crescent, the photo below shows a statue in front of Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see Mercury, Minerva, Hercules, and a mysterious orb floating above them. Modern mystery meets ancient mythology.
There was no fog, mist, rain, or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good."
