Orbs Above a Fire Station

Photo date: March 8, 2015.  Photographer: Mark Mahin.

Yesterday I read some pages from a book by a photographer who suggested that orbs may be spirits of the deceased, and that orbs like to revisit places that were emotionally significant to them during their earthly lives. I have no idea whether such a speculation is correct, but the photos below may be consistent with such an idea.

We see here two photos of a very old firehouse in New York.  The first photo shows more than 10 orbs near the top of the building.

The next photo shows the other side of the same firehouse. Again, we see more than 10 orbs.

At the time these photos were taken, weather web sites listed  the weather as "clear" at this location in the Queens borough of New York City, with a temperature of 42 F, a humidity of 63%, and a dew point of 26 F. There was no precipitation on this night in New York City. The observed air was dry with no sign of fog, rain or dampness. The AQI (air quality index) was 52,  which is described as "moderate," but very close to a level of 49, which is described as "good."  It would seem, therefore, that  neither dust nor weather conditions can plausibly account for these orb observations.
