The photo below was taken in New York City. We see an orb with a "comet tail," a kind of trailing motion blur that
indicates a very rapid speed. There was no fog, mist, rain, or
precipitation on this night. The air quality (as listed on airnow.gov)
was "good," with a rating of 38 (anything below 50 is considered good).
Below is a photo taken on the same night. We see 4 orbs with "comet tails," a kind of trailing motion blur that indicates a very rapid speed.
I may note that neither dust nor insects move fast enough to produce the motion blur shown in these photos. Perhaps 70 mile-an-hour winds might move dust particles fast enough to show this type of motion blur, but the wind speed on this night was only 7 miles an hour.
