Below is a highly anomalous sight I photographed while taking pictures of water drops falling against a dark background. I call these strange things "orb veils" (for lack of a better term). This is the third time I have photographed these orb veils forming into a congruent stack such as we see below (see here for other examples). The objects had an apparent size of about three inches.
