Here is a photo taken of the ceiling of Grand Central Station in New York.
Note the "double displacement" effect, an effect which photographers call ghosting. It is caused when the speed of an object exceeds the shutter speed of a camera. Since the camera had a very fast effective shutter speed of about 1/1000 of a second, this orb was probably moving very fast. There are many other similar photos on this site, as you see by looking at this poster of 37 speeding orbs.
This camera was taken with my Olympus FE-100 camera, unlike the Sony camera used for most of my Grand Central Station photos.
