Dramatic Undulating Orb Motion

Photo date: February 26, 2015.  Photographer: Mark Mahin.

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Station in New York.

Below is a closeup of the anomalous thing at the top of this photo.

We seem to see an orb making an undulating, wave-like motion.  The photo shows the photographic effect called ghosting, caused when an object moves much faster than the camera's shutter speed. I count four different turns of direction here.  This is inexplicable motion unlike any that is possible by a bird or an insect.  A bird or an insect might be able to move in a wave-like manner, but neither could do that in a space this short.

The photo was taken by a photographer with short hair, and cannot be explained as a hair.
